This tour is the ultimate experience for you to immerse yourself in Adelaide's rich indigenous history with an experienced local guide, participate in Aboriginal art as well as have the opportunity to handle  Australian native wildlife

  • Pick up from your accommodation either at Glenelg or Adelaide CBD
  • See Australia's largest exhibition of ancient artifacts at the SA Museum and hear cultural stories from the local guide, who will also share the history of South Australia. 
  • Animals Anonymous provide the opportunity to hold an Australian native animal and learn about the importance to conserve their local ecosystems.  Up to 8 different native animals can be available to view and hold. 
  • The Living Kaurna Cultural Centre is located at Warriparinga and offers Aboriginal and environmental education programs, events and performances. Choose from a range of activities at this venue including basket weaving or art experiences. 
  • Visit the Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute which is Australia’s oldest Aboriginal-owned and managed multi-arts centre where you will find one of South Australia's finest Aboriginal art displays.  
  • Have the opportunity to throw a traditional boomerang and learn of Aboriginal hunting techniques
  • Visit Colebrook Reconciliation Park which is now a memorial to remember the Aboriginal children of the Stolen Generation and their families. See the 'Fountain of Tears' and the 'Grieving Mother' statues, sculpted by Silvio Apponi, through the untiring efforts of the Colebrook Tjitji Tjuta, the Blackwood Reconciliation Group, the Aboriginal Lands Trust.
  • Tjilbruke is an important Creation Ancestor and is pivotal to the creation theories of the Kaurna people.  Listen to the stories that lead the dreaming track and have the opportunity to see some of the significant Indigenous sites along this track.

SILVER TOUR - 6 HOURS

This tour offers the opportunity to learn about Adelaide's rich indigenous history by a local experienced guide and enjoy handling native Australian native wildlife
